Rwanda Pedestrian Bridge

A folded metal frame organizes the crossing and gives the pedestrian route a recognizable urban presence. Openings between the folds frame changing views and light along the route, making the crossing both a practical connection and a recognisable civic gesture.
Elio Atallah — my contribution: I developed the architectural concept and design presentation for the pedestrian bridge, exploring folded enclosure, circulation and its presence in the urban landscape.
